I’ve been collecting viable and valuable parts for my M-37 mudder project truck over the years. However, with a pending move coming up, I realize I’m just not going to get to this project. I have my M-37 and my ’47 Power Wagon and I’m just going to be happy to have them when all is said and done.
I’m heading to the VPW Rally and will bring along a few parts to include a Helitool V-8 Conversion kit (still in the box, never even opened it!), a front disc brake set up that I bought from Don Scott several years ago (take off, ready to bolt on your truck)... again, never even put them on a truck, and a power steering kit (Saginaw reverse steering box, bracket, bearings and flanges, short shaft with universal u-joints) from Snake River 4x4 that – you guessed it – I never used. So, most of you know what these kits are like, I’m not sure if Ray is even making the parts for the kits anymore but I’ll have these at the rally with me. I’ve started to pull things from a ’51 that is truly a basket case. (I think all trucks are salvageable... but, every now and then, you just have to come to grips with the fact that some are beyond hope and just let ‘em go.) If someone would like something specific please e-mail me and I’ll be happy to try and pull a part to bring along.
