Here is the latest on the liability insurance the State has requested. This is an issue that a lot of people have worked hard over the last 40 days to get it nailed down. I want to thank Larry Less and Tony Verros, Ken Weza and Shannon,and my wife Nancy who has been on the phone and computer daily to find an insurance company that will cover our event.
Late last week we found a company that will cover the event as they have covered other events held at Hollister so they are familiar with the park. After 40 plus days of looking and waiting I pulled the trigger because I didn't want anybody to wait another day to hear if the rally was on.
In Jan we received notice from the State saying we had the 21 thru the 23 of June reserved for our meet but they dropped the insurance requirement on us in late April and I hope next year will be easier.
I want everyone to know that Tony Verreos will be our insurance person from here on out and please call him for any of your needs as he is located in Brisbane and can be reached at 415-467-9605.
I will be updated the registration form to reflect the insurance costs and to all of you who sent your forms in early I will be emailing you with the updates, So that is my good news for the day and we hope to see you all at the rally.
