Good points, Bill. And if you are really trying to sell a truck and "it would only take a little work to get it running", then do it. If the brakes "just need adjusted", then do it. Starter? Battery? If it "ran when parked" them get it running again. Does anyone really think that everyone else is going to believe the engine isn't stuck? Or blown? Or that it doesn't need a complete brake job? Clutch? Transmission?
