Brake Clips?

On my WDX the rear axel brake clips that guide the brake shoes in and out are broke off. Im considering doing a axel swap from my parts truck since the backplates are riveted on but have working cams and clips unlike the others. So...

1) Is it ok to grind backplate rivets off to remove backplates and go back with working backplates with working clips and cams using bolts? (Bolt on Backplates from a parts truck)

2) Does anyone carry New U bolts if i decide to do a axel swap. i want it done right with new hardware.

3) Does anyone carry the riveted brake clips?
