Causes please .
just changed all the vacuum hoses
The truck ran fine for most of the day but it lost power on the way home. revves dropped right off .
After about 15 minutes of nursing it down the road the truck suddenly revved right up , most of the power seemed to have returned and i got it home but it seems to have a slight miss and lack power .
1981 / carbed / lots of weird vacuum hoses that connect to thermostats and odd little canisters that have weird names and I am tempted to chuck out .
yes i have a vacuum gauge and will check out the vacuum advance .
yes I will pull the distributer cap / check the wires and plugs
yes i will turn on some propane and look for vacuum leaks .
any help for this old decrepid mind would be appreciated
