Hey Junior: Just for the fun of it I would be tempted to do that too. However In rural Ontario the best, wisest, easiest, way to lay that tree on the ground when it is anywhere close to the power lines is to pick up your phone and call Hydro One Forestry Dept.
To the best of my knowledge they still do that free of charge. They would much sooner have their crew cut it down rather than have their poles, lines and equipment torn down by the @#$% or %^&* or ^&*() chainsaw operator.
I have heard of some of these weekend repair jobs costing the chainsaw operator 10 to $20,000. LOL JJB.
