i just sold my 1991 diesel on ebay. guy called me. had to have it immediately. stop the auction. needed it for his tree business. i put a buy it now on ebay, to complete the transaction to ebay regulations. his wife set up an ebay account to make the deal. guy called me at least 15 more times about shipping,putting the plow in the bed,etc. i sent him the bill of sale. no further contact. about four days later, got a one line email from the wife, that her husband could not complete the transaction due to a non scheduled medical emergency. i wont deal with guys who have to ask their wives or mothers anymore. if you can't purchase a truck without getting permission, i believe that your finances are not in a place that you should be buying toys. if the wife is involved in your dealings, you haven't filled up the appropriate savings and contingency buckets to keep her and the family budget happy.
