Hi Leop,
I only used the electric pump after the mech. pump started failing. I did try running back on the mech. pump several times and it would go through a bowl full of fuel and start shuddering. Pump back on and it would smooth right back out.
If I remember right there is 10 or 15% Ethanol in Vermonts gas, I dont think we have E85 here.
I will call Then and Now and see what they say about ethanol and E85.
