The 4149-679 tag is the only type of tag a 1/2 ton 4wd WWII carryall would have on the door jamb.

The square main tag with the serial number, date of delivery, model number, etc would have been on the dash. Typically on the face of the glovebox door.

Only the non military trucks got the oval tag on the door jamb like the PWs and 39-47 civilian 2wds.

If your square tag is missing you can find the serial number on the frame and use that number to order a build card. The build card won't have every number that would have been on the tag, but it does have a lot of useful information. If you get a build card please share it and people can help you decode it.
