Looking through the archives it appears that a few people have this starter.
I guess I'll have to count the teeth on the starter and flywheel and see if this starter will work. I have my doubts because I was not able to turn the engine by hand while the starter was installed.
I bought the 251 from the photo ads and if the starter is correct I don't know how I am going to get it past the oil filter lines to install. Do the oil lines need to be removed to install/remove the starter on the 251?
