Shimmy is just what we called it during that era. Not sure when the term DW came into vogue but as mentioned if you have it you will know why it's called that. I have had "shimmy" a few times on a 4X and DW once on a 4 axle Peterbilt when the tag axle let loose. Don't want to see that again.
