In my opinion the LU4 winch is the worst winch Braden ever made. Imagine being in a very serious situation when you need the winch and not being able to engage or disengage the clutch. At least with the MU2 and the LU2 you can get at it with a bar to free it up. And aren
t they only an 8000# capacity winch as well? I wonder what Braden engineers were thinking. Maybe they figured since they were going on M37s the guys would just abandon them and jump in a troop carrier.
