Yeah, Jim, that was my concern as well. , thickness may be an issue, as the attaching screws add to the pinch-point, and may crack the lenses if they are glass. Adding a rubber gasket may inhibit the cracking, but then the glass thickness may not allow the cover to close completely allowing rain, and moisture in. I think with glass thickness at 0.03125", it would crack. Plastic is I think the only material I can use. JET
