My '01 has a perfect dash also. I've only seen one cracked and that was one of my cuz' out of 5 or 6 in the family. And most of those were Ford guys and they ALL say the Dodge is by far the best pickup they have had. Over the years that's a lot of Fords. Never thought I would hear them say that. =)
My '01 has over 188,000 with the original tranny, ball joints and wheel bearings. I did replace the track bar and recently replaced the axle end track bar bushing with a poly one, adjusted the steering box per the FSM, put about as much positive caster in as I could get and she now finally drives like it should.
