I believe i found the problem of my truck cutting out and dying, although i haven't yet tested it. After crawling under the truck i could smell gas. I realized there was a very small leak in the the line near the tank. Im assuming air is getting into the the fuel lines and reducing the the pumping capacity of the the fuel pump.
