Well it didn't fall...

Today I installed a two post lift. Never did that before, but not too much drama. The vertical posts are 145" tall and weigh about 800 pounds each, so getting them vertical without killing anyone was a bit tricky. In the end, using two Marines who came back from deployments last year, we pushed it up sort of like the flag on Iwo Jima... At the end of the day we decided to test it on my 88 Ff-250 and see what gives. The lift didn't fall on our heads and the truck didn't crash off the lift, so I guess we did ok, although I only took it up a few feet off the ground!
