My youngest boy was here on the farm yesterday for the annual wood cutting. We have a wood fired heater in the lounge area that heats the whole house over the winter. I gather the tree and branch falls, any good logs carried in by floods during the previous year, then around Easter time cut it all up ready for winter. It helps keep this old body going and great spending time with the youngster - he's over 30 now so maybe I should ease up on him - he could hardly roll out of bed this morning, lol.
