Dad and I freed a couple valves in my engine with a piece of thin bar stock, penetrating oil, some brake cleaner, and some serious patience. The bar was used to tap the base of the valve and put some pressure on the valve through the valve covers after soaking them in penetrating oil. Once the valve begins to move the brake cleaner cleanes the crud off the valve letting it move freely.
Unfortunately if the vlave is stuck because it is bent this method has no chance of working.
