I cranked my WM300 and its running very well. I was backing it out of my garage for its maiden voyage when i saw smoke coming from under the dashboard. After closer examination i determined it was the short black wire that runs from the GA port on the fuel gauge to the Accessory terminal on the Ignition switch. I removed the two wires (Black And Blue) on the Accessory post cranked it up and no issues. So Question 1 Why would it be doing this? Question two how do i resolve it? As admitted before yall understand electrical much better than i do. Only thing i can come up with is that the FUEL and TEMP gauges should be on the the IGN Terminal??? LOL
