For either the rebuild or current, Charles Talbert over at M-series makes an adapter to run a modern seal in the dodge housing. It's a heavy duty piece that is drilled and tapped with bolt holes for easy removal in the future.
Between a good modern seal and a redi-sleeve it should seal well and last a lot longer then any leather seal.
