Hey folks. I am in the process of cleaning up my tranny that came out of my 48 ffpw. After scraping 1'' of grime off of it, i thne proceeded to remove the top plate with the stick. I drained the fluid and cleaned the inside of the tranny out with some degreaser. I found no evidence of any metal chips or shavings in the tran. The teeth on the gears look fine. How concerned or in depth should I continue in tearing into this tranny. It looks real clean inside, but just want to get some feedback on what else i should check out. end play tolerances etc. Thanks!
