she was walking down the sidewalk one day and saw a group of young men standing around a car with the hood open. As she approached one of the young men turned and asked her if she could help them find the battery. She looked at them and then pointed out the battery, right there in plain sight. She appalled but was glad that I had taught her the basics of car maintenance. Not sure if they were actually that stupid or just looking for a reason to talk to a cute girl.
