Dave, I got to thinking-- my 53 has a hole in the center dash for the panel light switch, headlight switch, ingition, choke. It also has the bracket under the dash for the throttle rod. I had to make a spring. On the trucks with the T-handle cable throttle, does it mount in a hole in the dash next to the choke, or does it mount in the same bracket under the dash? Maybe someone punched CS's dash with a new hole for a plain choke type cable for the throttle?
