CS, you are right, mine is a 58 and has the small T handle, but the bracket is the same as mine. someone over the years has probably changed it out and put a choke cable in it for some unknown reason. but having said that, my fathers 46 dodge car had a throttle cable that did not have a stop on it, and it said "throttle" on the head, so it may be out of an old car? anyway, its hard to beat the little T-handle. good luck with it, Dave.
