Ok problem solved! Spoke with Jens at VPW who sold me my 6 volt switch and my 12 volt switch as well as my ready made harness. I don't know all the terminology but when I changed over to my 6 volt switch made for the floor as compared to my 12 volt wm300 which uses the key switch It created a direct short and melted the wire. All I need to do is replace the melted wire and use the proper ignition for the truck. Thank you everyone for your help y'all are awesome and I couldn't have done this rebuild without you guys. Hopefully I get a chance to meet some y'all at this years rally.
