Mike, I mean it doesn't really matter whether you're running a Michelin, STA, Goodyear or a Swamper...nobody wants a flat. I love Michelin products but I still haven't heard from anyone having trouble with the other brands available from the commercial truck tire shops.
I ordered radial flaps from Kaltire yesterday...I'll post pics of the differences once they arrive because that seems like the only way we're going to find out why they say to use the bias ones.
Honestly...I've never examined the difference & just taken their word that there is a difference between radial & bias flaps.
