I have been there for several truck shows. There are some nice rigs but I can't recall how many.

There is a red/white Freightliner cab over I don't think is in the museum from Alder Creek Lumber company. While I didn't drive that one I drove a mate that was much the same and I lived right next to the mill on Sauvies Island.

There is also steam equipment and some Cat equipment along with a fire truck or two. IMHO it's worth going if you are in the area but I would check if they are open all the time or not and may be closed as you mentioned. It is north of Salem @ the Brooks exit. Not too far if you are already in Salem.
