Partial restoration started on the vehicle. The vehicle does run, and we have an ID OD which confirms the odometer reading with the VIN number on the vehicle.
The M43 is equipped with:
24v ignition system, (2) new batteries purchased in 2011.
6 cylinder - 230 cubic inch flathead. Carburetor was rebuilt in 2011.
4x4 with 5:83 axel gear ratio and 9:00 x 16 military tires
52,000 miles
Recently rewired headlights, taillights, and ignition system. Previous wiring harness was removed.
Recently purchased:
(2) NOS brake drums and pads from http://www.vintagepowerwagons.com/ (these guys have everything you need to rebuild your powerwagon) Drums and pads not installed yet.
2) New windshields and window frames.
(3) new brake hoses.
New muffler
Vehicle does NOT come with a title. We were in that process when we decided to sell. Quote we got from a lawyer was $500.
