I would sell it as is it does not have a huge following and modernizing it would destroy any value it had as a very limited production truck.. Rare does not always translate to money. Everybody has an opinion on this but with the questions you are asking I think you would be better served restoring something you know more about most people make these trucks their own and they do their own work for the most part. Just my .02 cents.
