You can clear the memory by disconnecting the battery cable. Ground only. But if you have a security radio you will lose it and can only be turned back on with the radio code. Do you have the code ??? I would take a few minuets and go over what you did under the hood. Look at all the items you touched as you did the spark plugs. Maybe you have a wire/connector not plugged back together?? Have a look before you pull the cable. Not sure what kind of inspection your state has but if you do pull the cable your computers memory is cleared and in our state can not be tested till you drive the truck 2 to 3 days. Good Luck Bill
