I have a gravely pro with a 12.5 hp Kawasaki on it and have had no issues with the engine. I also ran a BadBoy zero turn with a 27 hp Kohler courage engine and it performed flawlessly for hours on end. The BadBoy is owned by the parks and rec. board in town and they are not exactly easy on equipment. Make sure you purchase a mower that suits your needs. I say this because the parks and rec. also has a cub cadet zero turn which is rated for homeowner use. They are running it daily and for long periods like a commercial mower which is really taking its toll on the machine. They have broken many spindles, deck wheels, adjusters, belts, and have broken or worn out multiple sets of blades per season. However the engine, a 25hp briggs and stratton V twin is still running just fine.
