A friend had a bunch of GM pitman arms. I found one that matched the length and curve to work well. Have no idea what is was off, neither did he. On my M37, I also used a GM Saginaw BOx. With the M37, I used a 66 Caddy Pitman arm. That required a ball on tapered shaft. Rare Parts Inc. supplied the 66 Cady arm, tapered shaft with ball and machined a new taper on the Caddy Pitman arm to match the Ball and tapered stud.
