Doors wide shut

Since I finally managed to get both doors fitted and closing properly I figured I could move on to the latches. Decided to replace the stock ones which were damaged on both my original driver's door and the replacement with some locking bear-claw style versions. All-in-all it seemed to go OK. Now I'll just have to work out the linkages.

Are the door pins something special or are people just using bolts?
