I think the survivor is way cool. Faded paint that shows it years, old door lettering and a vintage phone number with letters. (My family's number was HA4-5078) I would make the interior comfortable but not cut up the dash. Updating seating and steering makes sense but not electric windows.
Having said this I must say it's not the way I'm going. I don't have a truck that is a survivor. I have three junk yard refuges. There isn't a single panel that wont require welding in patches. Jim
