Looking for tandem advice on my PW.....

Got a hair brained idea and need some input. Want to make the next project a Power Wagon but with a tandem rear like the yellow one sold quite some time ago for $47K on the forum ads. Choice #1: Buy a tandem frame running gear (a WC) and build UP or 2.) take my '54 C1PW that already has the Cummins and have the frame extended and have a set of tandems fitted.
