He's probably a nice guy and I hope he stays in business, but you might ask him how much he pays for the "name brand". It's more than zero. That's an expense that has to be priced into the gas even if it's exactly the same gas as the cheap guys. You might also ask, not in a snarky way even, what exactly it is that makes his gas better. If he's paying to have extra additives put in it, what are they. He should know.
