Whatever it is you're probably not going to find it. The truth is, like others have said, it depends on your tastes. Some, like me, like the originality of the '46, because it's the start of it all. Others like the creature comforts that came along in later years (synchronized transmission, power steering, power brakes). Which is the rarest and most desired rifle, or horse, or Scotch whisky, or ice cream cone? :) :)
