Ok, as most of you know, I had my engine and transmission rebuilt by at one time well respected person in the PW world. Since then I have had gremlins come up and no one to repute them to.

Here is one thats starting to scare me.

When Vaughn came over and we got the motor running for the first time since Ive had it, after running for awhile, there became a sound of something dropping in a pan, then a screeching noise. We dropped the cover plate over the clutch and flywheel. In the pan, at that time, was two or three little pieces of plastic. Black, about the size of the tip of my finger plastic. Vaughn may help and chime in on helpin me describe this.

Anyway, that was about 125 miles ago. Today, I started it up to get it ready, as I wanna drive the truck to work tomorrow since Im working in the auto shop tomorrow at Headquarters.

After running for about 10 minutes, the same "plink" sound and a few seconds later, the same screeching noise. Instinctively I shut the motor moff and went right to the half inch bolts holding the clutch cover on. Dropped it, and sure enough, another piece of plastic is siting in the pan. WTF??!!

So, who knows why there would be small plastic blocks in the clutch are? What are they for? Should I be worried they are falling out and screeching? What they are doing is getting caught in the flywheel and scrapping around the pan. And worse yet, HOW MANY MORE ARE LEFT THAT WILL FALL OUT??

Click my link and there are more pictures in the album on Photobucket.

Someone please help me figure this out!!

Thanks
Nick
