The piece that holds the windshield halfs together is called the Frame Joint Tapping Plate, one for each side of the frame. Like some have said, use Acetone and ATF mixture, pour on Joints and let sit. Could use some heat on them and melt candle wax in, let sit. Take your time and let the Joints soak up whatever you are using as a rust buster. "TIME" is what is the most precious tool that will work when taking these apart. Believe me, I found out the hard way. LOL
