Hi Graig,
Since it still makes the noise with no belts, that eliminates the water pump, alternator, and the belts. Is the noise coming from the front? It could be the fuel pump eccentric on the end of the cam, mine was very worn after only 54,000 miles. Did it get changed during the re-build?
