I was trying to winch something while in low dig reverse a few years back and EXPLODED my right side cv joint(both half's) AND broke the end of the outer axel....not good!! The worst part is that it all got caught up inside the housing and banged it out of round.
Vintage P W has replacment parts, I found a complete front end to buy...I guess the ol trucks DO have thier limits !!!
