The 114% maximum gradeability figure is with "full passenger load" which probably means without any additional cargo. The Army calculated a 103% gradeability with the T10 105 mm recoiless rifle installed on a T-19 mount (600 lbs. by my estimate), leaving 700 lbs. for additional cargo. Other military tests produced slightly different results. The T233 weights 5890 pounds fully equipped and is spec'd to carry 1300 lbs. I imagine the M-37 when empty would be nearly identical in performance to the T233.

For the past year I have been gathering photos and military test results for the T233, but still have a few more photos to obtain. Once I get them, I will finish my lengthy T233 illustrated article for Army Motors. I'll also do a photo report on it for the PW Advertiser once Spring arrives in Denver. It's snowing again today, burrrr...
