A very good friend had a 92 W250 and his son wrecked it . He parked it in by the barn and was unable to find another Dodge on a short notice so he bought a 97 phord f350 4x4 5sp with 4.10 gears. He is a hunter and hunts elk in CO. and hauls 2 horses and two mules and the Dodge gave him 19.6 mpg round trip . The best he ever got out of the ford empty was 17 and with the empty trailer he was lucky to get 11 and it went south when he put the horses and mules in .Repairs to get it to 90k have been over a thousand bucks . He told me for over a year that if it ever started two days in a row he would sell it. He now has a 2001 W250 6sp HO.and if anyone needs a ford he has one for sell .
