I've also had the same problem with my WDX. Drove me nuts cause I had just rebuilt the engine a few months earlier. I was able to get a temperary cure by shimming up the oil pressure relief valve. But this was only a temperary cure, and I haven't been able to go back into that engine yet so as to find out what went wrong on me. If you shim up the relief valve, be careful that you don't use to many shims, you don't want to break your oil pressure gauge from high oil pressure.
