An earlier post asked about sending units for PW tanks. Steve Wataha of Rock Springs, WY has used Volkswagen units with good luck. Just today, I found the VDO number for the VW units that he uses, which is 90037/8 481. You have to lengthen the float arm and re-orient the arm in the tank. You also have to determine where to position the upper and lower stops to indicate Full and Empty conditions. I hope this helps.
