Dude, I don't know alot about nothin', even less about Power Wagons, but I have heard about Dot '5' brake fluid. When re-doing my old Jaguar (I know, I know, how do you compare a Jaguar and a Power Wagon, but...) Jaguar recommends the use of only Dot '5', not the cheap Dot '3' stuff we all use. (Dot 5 is purple and kind-of expensive) The theory, or fact, behind the scene is that the Dot '5' doesn't allow moisture to build up (= no rust in the lines). It either contains no water, or, like your other reply, it may be all petroleum based, which might not be good for Power Wagons. Either way, it might be something more for you to look into with a real "brake dude".
Just more dribble from Dana to check out! Good luck with it!
