Was wondering our local pick-n-pull yard to see if I could turn up any seats I wanted to use. Didn't have much luck but I also wondered looked at some of the wiper setups on the different vehicles to see if any had potential.

Ended up coming home with this rear unit from a caravan. It's fairly small but has a decent sized motor. The important part was that it's self contained, which means no external linkage. If you mounted one for each wiper they should have plenty of torque.

The down sides are the post size is bigger then the PW openings so it's hard to determine if it can be worked into the opening. Also looks like the rotation may be more than we would want, and there is only one speed which is probably equivalent to slow on a normal car, not sure if that can be changed. The plus side is they're very common, easy to wire and have a park feature.

I'll keep playing with this one but I'm not sure it's going to be what we need. Might have to consider moving the motor outside the header box with the linkage inside and just build a cover like on some of the jeeps and early broncos.
