Looks like the one I picked up at a local auction a few years ago for $60. It still has the original dovetailed white oak box and leather strap. The metal tag on top describes it as a Fidelity Blasting Machine, Model 50, etc. etc. I had to free up and clean up the rack and pinion style plunger mechanism. I have not tried any dynamite yet, but I suspect it would still do the job. I did installed a 120 volt lighting pigtail socket with a 15 watt bulb across the two connection points, and yes it does momentarily light when the plunger hits the bottom.
Yes I have considered mounting it on the side of the WDX. And yes I have considered sticking a picture of John Wayne "The Duke" on the side of the oak box, as I believe he used them in several of the old movies.
