keep dreaming. ;/) most of offroad performance comes down to tires, gearing and articualtion. 3 things where the WCs and PWs are in their own league. You have to jump up to something like the Unimog (big step up) or spend 4K in mods to something else to even start to get on the same level. also what is a straight axle toyota? it is a miniturized WC 1/2 ton with a chevy motor. all the same exact design as a WC/PW. only weaker. the puny stock tires will get you know where. lift one and put 33s on it then you can have some fun.
