It is nice to have this feature in the summer. I have found though, that it works best at slow speed. If I am running over say, 25 mph, the vibration is hard on the gear in the device and it can slip. So, I use the cowl vent when going at any speed (for a PW), and open the windshield for crawling, low speed or when stationary.
